Quarterback Brooks Kerbow ran for 100+ yards and threw for 100+ yards to lead the Kangaroos over Lake Ridge Friday night in double overtime. Kerbow was 18/21 for 153 yards and the lone touchdown in the air was to Robert Taylor that was the game winner in double over time from 25 yards out. Kerbow rushed 13 times for 111 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Xavier Craven rushed 14 times for 128 yards and a touchdown as well. Sophomore Rule Doss was the leading receiver with 7 catches for 66 yards.
On defense the Roos were led by Micah Moore, who leads the team in tackles on the season, and had 10 tackles on the night with a fumble recovery. Asa Dowling and Liam Riley followed that up with 9 tackles each and Riley had a sack as well.
With the win the Roos kept their playoff hopes alive and will host Boswell next Friday night at Kangaroo Stadium.
