The Lady Roo Powerlifting team competed in the regional meet Wednesday in Prosper. The Lady Roos finished up 5th as a team, giving them five years in a row of being in the top five teams in the region.

The Lady Roos had four medalists and took 13 lifters total.

Congratulations to Lauren Schweiss who placed 2nd at the Regional Powerlifting Meet yesterday in Prosper. With placing second she earned her way to the state meet.
This is Lauren's second year to qualify for the regional meet and her second time to qualify for the state meet.
Lauren squatted 270 pounds which was more than anyone else in her weight class.

Congratulations to Zoe Tesi who placed 4th at the Regional Powerlifting Meet yesterday in Prosper.
This is Zoe's second year to qualify for the regional meet and her first time to qualify for the state meet.
Zoe qualified for state by hitting the automatic qualifying total for her weight class. She also dead lifted 310 pounds yesterday!

Congratulations to Riley Clark who placed 3rd at the Regional Powerlifting Meet yesterday in Prosper.
This is Riley's second year to qualify and she is a first alternate for the state meet
Riley squatted 300 pounds yesterday!

Congratulations to Kiara Carson who placed 4th at the Regional Powerlifting Meet yesterday in Prosper.
This is Kirara's first trip to the regional meet.
Yesterday she squatted 350 pounds!
