XC Results for Decatur Reunion Run

Your Running Roos took on some perennial powerhouses like Marcus and Keller High Saturday morning in the Decatur Reunion Run. The girls started the morning off with a strong 3rd place finish. Rayla Castillo and Remi Boone placed 3rd and 4th to the lead the Mob with Cheyanne Gorman and Macayla Kopacz both running medal performances. The boys had a strong outing as well placing 5th in one of the most talented pools of runners we have seen this year. Riley Starling and Kelan Bush had outstanding performances, both breaking personal bests by over 30 seconds. Braxton Boyer was our number 3 runner across the line, also running a personal best.
The girls JV placed 3rd just behind Marcus and Keller High. Stella Adams, Mia Saldivar, and Sophia White were all medal recipients with Paige Blake and Madison Pulis rounding out the Mighty Mob’s top 5. Like last week, the Running Roos JV Boys ran away with their division. They were led by newcomer Jett Hendrix, Gerardo Miranda, and Tony Gorman. Others that finished top 20 in a field of 150 were Daniel Brown, Erick Ibarra, Milo Proctor, Tug Scott, and Tate Nobis. To have 8 in the top 20 of a tented group like this was truly a remarkable day!
