XC Report for the Byron Nelson Invitational

The varsity girls placed 6th in the Elite Division with Rayla Castillo and Remi Boone both earning medals. Macayla Kopacz, Cheyanne Gorma, and Cayleigh Madrid finished out the point earners with strong improvements from last week. The boys also placed 6th in the Elite Varsity Division with a spread of only 11 seconds between the 1st five runners. The team was led by Josh Gal followed closely by Riley Starling, Rafael Ordonez, Braxton Boyer, and Kelen Bush.
Our 2 standouts from the Open Varsity Divisions on the girl’s side were freshmen Nayelli Ordonez and Paige Blake. On the boy’s side Erick Ibarra and Tristyn Allison had standout races.
