Weatherford improved to 2-0 Friday night by topping JJ Pearce 41-31 in Richardson. The Roos gained over 400 yards of total offense behind an offensive line that paved the way.

Jojo Polk led the Roos with 31 carries for 146 yards and a touchdown. Ryan Clark also added in 49 yards on seven carries, with two touchdowns and a two-point conversion. Melvin Polk caught five passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns. CJ Thornton was 6/10 throwing the ball with 131 yards and two touchdowns.

Barrett Smith led the defensive charge putting constant pressure on the quarterback and having multiple sacks.

The Roos strap it on again next Friday at home vs Burleson.
