The Kangaroo Baseball Team picked up another district win Tuesday night beating Chisholm Trail 8-0 on Senior Night. Dayton Tockey picked up the win on the mound pitching 5 innings allowing 0 runs on 3 hits and struck out 9 Rangers. Joshua Goree pitched 1 scoreless inning allowing 0 hits and struck out 2. Grady Moore came on to pitch the 7th and retired all 3 batters in the 7th. Ryan Whisenhunt, Jake Williams, and Omar Juarez led the offensive attack. Whisenhunt was 2 for 2 with a home run and a double, Williams was 3 for 3 with triple and 2 singles, and Juarez was 2 for 2 and scored 2 runs. Drew Ortiz hit an Inside the Park Home Run to lead off the 5th inning. Kannon Kemp and Trace Holcomb also had hits in the contest. The win brings the Roos record to 22-5 overall and 12-1 in district. The Kangaroos will close out the regular season Friday at Chisholm Trail.
