TOCKEY POWERS ROO BALL OVER TRINITY

The Kangaroo Baseball team traveled to Trinity High School Friday for a district 3-6A game. The Roos bats came out firing in the top of the 1st inning scoring 7 runs and never looked back defeating the Trojans 15-5. Dayton Tockey led the offense going 3 for 4 with 2 Home Runs and 5 RBIs in the game, Omar Juarez added 3 singles and drove in 3 runs, and Ty Sansom added a triple and a single and 4 RBI's. Jake Williams had 2 hits, scored 3 runs, and stole 2 bases. Trent Rogers hit a double and drove in 2 runs. Juan Mascorro hit a solo home run on the only pitch he saw on Friday. Kannon Kemp was solid on the mound picking up his 5th win of the season. Kemp scattered 8 hits and allowed 1 earned run in the complete game victory. The win keeps the Roos in 1st place with a district record of 9-1 and 18-5 overall. The next game will be Tuesday night at North Crowley.
