MOORE SAVES 5TH GAME OF THE SEASON, ROO BALL TOPS TRINITY

The Kangaroo Baseball team won a district matchup vs Trinity 5-2 on Tuesday Night. The Roos were led by some timely hitting by Dayton Tockey with a triple and an RBI and Drew Ortiz with a 2 out single to score a big run. Ortiz, Jake Williams, and Kannon Kemp all had two hits at the plate. Kemp scored 2 of the Roos 5 runs. Dayton Tockey got the win on the mound pitching 4 innings allowing 2 runs on 4 hits and struck out 3. Grady Moore came on to pick up his 5th save of the season pitching 3 very strong innings. Moore allowed 0 hits and 0 runs while striking out 1 in his 3 innings of work. Moore also hit a double and scored a run for the Roos. The win brings the Kangaroos record to 17-5 and 8-1 in district. The next game will be Friday at Trinity and 1:00 PM.
