Girls Powerlifting competed yesterday in the Region IV 6A meet at Prosper High School.

The Lady Roo lifters broke 10 school records in the meet on their way to a fourth-place finish as a team.

Tanner Bussey is our lone state qualifier as she outlifted the state qualifying total of 725 by 15 pounds. She will compete at the State Meet in Corpus Christi on March 16th.

We are very proud of how the girls competed all season and represented Weatherford very well in the regional meet. We are certainly going to miss our 3 seniors, Olivia Christmas, Chloe Shackelford and Grace Sinquefield.
