The Roos are back at it in Tennis as the Spring season is heavily underway. This week the Roos attended three different Tournaments.
The JV B Roos started the week off by traveling to Alvarado where they represented the Program very well. Even in a Rain shortened tournament the Roos finished with several medalists. The following are some of the results.
1st place Boys Singles – Kaedon Peacock
1st and 2nd Place Girls Singles – Kashleigh Kilker and Abby Tucker (Playing in the finals against each other for first and second place when rain cancelled the Meet)
1st Boys Doubles – Owen Hendrix and Frank Trejo Martinez
On Thursday the JV A group traveled to Denton Braswell. Through extremely cold and windy weather the Roos competed extremely hard as we had a couple of athletes make it all the way to the consolation championship. Riley Taylor lost in a close consolation championship and the Mixed Doubles team of Jack Terrill and Madison Ramirez.
Friday the Varsity Team traveled to Fort Worth and battled in the Northside Invitational. After a long day of battling the Roos came back with lots of medals to show their hard work and success in the tournament.
Congratulations to the following finishers
3rd Place Girls Doubles – Perla Suazo and Hailey Toten
Consolation Boys Single Champion – Sam Mackenzie
2nd Place Boys Doubles – Cameron McClleland and Morgan Peterson
3rd Place Mixed Doubles – Shelbi Ruthesell and Cayden Lyerla

This has been an awesome week of Roo Tennis and we look forward to next week where we will be traveling to Eaton High School Tuesday for our JV Tournament and Friday for the Varsity Tournament.
