Here is your Lady Roo update!!

Both teams traveled to tournaments this weekend. The JV Roos competed in the Lady Lions Showcase at Castleberry HS and won both of their games against Alvarado (11-0) and Duncanville (3-1)!

The Varsity Lady Roos participated in the Bear Cave Classic at Brewer HS this weekend, finishing 1-2.
On Thursday, the Lady Roos lost a tight 1-0 game against Birdville, giving up the game-winning goal late in the second half. In the second game of the day, the team soundly defeated Fossil Ridge by a score of 2-0. Scorers were freshman Ava Garrett and sophomore Helena Hunt, with Bailey Patterson and Kadance Birchett assisting. Nancy Taylor closed with a stellar shutout.
Saturday morning, we faced eventual tournament champion Nolan Catholic, dropping the game 2-0 after a hard-fought match.

Both teams will face Denton on Friday at home in our last game before district play starts. Bundle up and come cheer on your Lady Roos!! Jv starts at 5:00 and Varsity will play at 7:00.
