The JV Football Team won big Thursday night 60-20 over Cleburne. The Roos were down 20-8 at the end of the first quarter and rattled off 52 unanswered points. The Roos defense tightened up with two caused fumbles by cornerback Britton Burrows and some big pressure from the defensive line. Jackson Thompson and Everett Young had some key stops.

The offense was led by the running of Jojo Polk and the passing of Keats Bohannon. Bohannon threw touchdown passes to Burrows and Isaac Chapa. Polk rushed for multiple touchdowns and had well over 100 yards.

The JV Roos start district next week at LD Bell.
