The second quarter saw the Panthers jump out to a quick lead at 13-10 and even stretched it to 17-12 before Wells hit another three. The Lady Roos tied it up at 19 with a steal and lay-up by Hannah Kness with 1:42 left in the first half. After Arwood hit a runner in the lane that knotted the score up at 21 all, and that is where it stayed till halftime.

The fourth quarter saw the Lady Roos go right back to Buckley in the post and get another quick two bringing the score to 33-31 North Crowley. The Panthers decided to then start the stall tactic in order to melt the clock for the next six minutes. The Roos hit two free throws, one by Kness and one by Buckley, to even the score with under a minute. After a miss Arwood got a big steal with 39 seconds to play and Coach Shearmire called timeout. The Panthers held the ball for the last shot to win it but it was blocked by Wells.
