The Lady Roos Basketball team fell just short against VR Eaton this week 33-31. The Lady Roos took the lead midway through the fourth quarter but eventually lost the back and forth battle with an Eaton bucket at the buzzer.

Madison Buckley led the team with nine points, Hannah Kness had eight, Kilie Cummings had six, Abby Arwood had four, Aubree Cash had two, and Emily Byrd and Lauren Lee both had a point each.

The Lady Roos were down at the end of the half and the 3rd quarter but fought back to take the lead in the fourth. Weatherford was led by some great defensive effort to get them back in the game.

The Lady Roos play again another couple of times this week, taking on Keller Central on 12/11/2020 and Fort Worth Southwest on 12/12/2020.
